Customer legal policy
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 28 June 2026. These Terms apply to all searches, enquiries, assisted quotations, booking requests, traveller details, documents, payments, cancellations, refunds and support interactions made through The Holidays Group website, phone, WhatsApp, email, office desk or authorised support channels in India.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
- By using this website or submitting a booking request, the customer agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy and any supplier-specific booking conditions.
- The customer must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under applicable Indian law. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent, guardian or authorised adult.
- If a person books on behalf of a family, company, group, agent, employee or traveller, that person confirms that they have authority to share details and accept these Terms for the concerned travellers.
- B2B agents, corporates and partners may also be governed by separate commercial agreements. If there is a conflict, the written commercial agreement will apply to that business relationship, subject to applicable law.
2. Our role as travel facilitator
- The Holidays Group provides travel search, assisted quotations, itinerary planning, booking support and customer service for flights, hotels, villas, cabs, transfers, trains, buses, holidays, tours, visa assistance, cruise, forex and travel insurance.
- Many services are supplied by independent third parties such as airlines, hotels, transport operators, visa partners, payment gateways, insurance companies, tour operators and global travel suppliers.
- Unless expressly stated in writing, The Holidays Group acts as a booking facilitator or travel service intermediary. Final availability, rates, inclusions, taxes, seat, room, vehicle, visa outcome, ticketing and service delivery depend on the relevant supplier.
- Supplier terms, fare rules, hotel rules, visa rules, airline rules, insurance policy wording and local destination rules form part of the customer contract for the relevant service.
3. Prices, availability and booking confirmation
- Search results, offers, package examples and assisted quotations may change until ticketing, voucher issue or written confirmation is completed.
- Prices may include base fare, room charges, taxes, GST, supplier fees, service charges, convenience fees, gateway charges, foreign exchange changes or local destination charges, depending on the product.
- A booking request is not a confirmed booking. A booking becomes confirmed only when payment, required documents and supplier confirmation are completed and The Holidays Group issues a booking confirmation, ticket, voucher, receipt or written confirmation.
- If a fare, rate or availability displayed on the website is caused by a technical error, supplier error, currency error, cache delay or typographical error, The Holidays Group may cancel, revise or hold the booking request before final confirmation.
4. Customer details, documents and traveller responsibility
- The customer is responsible for providing correct names as per passport or government ID, date of birth, gender, phone number, email, travel dates, routes, room occupancy, passenger type, meal request, baggage requirement, visa documents and other details required for the service.
- Incorrect names, missing documents, expired passports, wrong GST details, invalid identity proof, incomplete visa documents or late submission can cause rejection, cancellation, additional charges or travel denial.
- The customer must check ticket, hotel voucher, invoice, visa details, pickup time, flight time, baggage rule, cancellation rule and refund rule immediately after receiving confirmation.
- The customer is responsible for carrying valid passport, visa, permits, ID proof, vaccination or health documents, travel insurance and other documents required by airline, hotel, immigration, destination, supplier or government authority.
5. Payments, GST and invoices
- Payments must be made through approved payment methods shown by The Holidays Group or its authorised payment gateway partners.
- The Holidays Group does not ask customers to share card CVV, OTP, net banking password or UPI PIN with staff. Customers must not share such credentials with anyone.
- GST invoices, tax invoices or B2B invoices will be issued as applicable under Indian tax laws and based on information provided by the customer before invoice generation.
- Payment gateway charges, convenience fees, bank charges, foreign currency conversion charges and supplier fees may be non-refundable unless required by applicable law or confirmed otherwise in writing.
6. Cancellations, changes and refunds
- Cancellations, rescheduling, name changes, date changes, route changes, room changes, passenger changes and refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy and supplier-specific rules.
- Some fares, rooms, packages, visa services, cruise bookings, group bookings, promotional rates and last-minute bookings may be non-refundable, non-changeable or partially refundable.
- No-show, late arrival, missed flight, immigration denial, document rejection, visa refusal, weather disruption, medical emergency or force majeure events may be treated according to supplier and applicable law.
- The Holidays Group may charge service fees for assisted changes, cancellation processing, document review, manual support or supplier follow-up where permitted by law and disclosed to the customer.
7. User conduct and website use
- Customers must not misuse the website, submit false documents, create fraudulent bookings, attempt unauthorised access, scrape supplier data, disrupt service, upload harmful files or use the website for unlawful purposes.
- The Holidays Group may suspend or refuse service for suspected fraud, payment risk, abusive behaviour, false documents, cyber misuse, supplier blacklist, legal restriction or breach of these Terms.
- Website content, branding, design, logos, text, photographs, itinerary format and booking flow are owned by or licensed to The Holidays Group and must not be copied or reused without written permission.
8. Communications and electronic records
Customers agree that booking confirmations, support updates, invoices, policy notices, payment links and supplier updates may be sent through website dashboard, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls or other electronic communication channels. Electronic records and communication logs may be used for booking support, dispute review and legal compliance as permitted under Indian law.
9. Limitation of liability
- The Holidays Group is not responsible for loss caused by supplier failure, airline schedule change, hotel overbooking, visa rejection, immigration decision, weather, strike, pandemic, war, government order, natural calamity, payment gateway outage or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Holidays Group's liability for a confirmed booking will be limited to the amount received by The Holidays Group for the disputed service, excluding third-party charges, consequential losses, loss of profit, emotional distress or indirect damages.
- Nothing in these Terms limits customer rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian laws.
10. Privacy and data protection
Customer and traveller information is processed as explained in the Privacy Policy. By submitting details, the customer authorises The Holidays Group to use and share necessary data with suppliers, payment gateways, visa partners, support teams and authorities where required for the requested travel service.
